I just had an other amazing week in Bali. I had a bigger group than normal, but wow, how lucky was I. Such a dynamic group of women. We laughed, danced and ate our way around the island.
I have never felt so comfortable with a group of ladies that I didn’t know that well. We started our day with a stroll along Legian beach, followed by a more challenging pilates class ! Might I add,all of which are optional ( I don’t get offended )
There were many highlights of the trip. One of the most highly talked about topic on the retreat is how amazing the food is in Bali. The favourites amongst the ladies is definitely La Lucciola ( where we have the private Firefly room for our group) and Biku. Then there is the amazing beach clubs, we visited several on this trip ! Firstly we went to La Brisa then Kudeta and finally Sunday’s for a chilled day at the beach. Sunday’s offers paddle boarding, snorkelling and relaxing on the beach and some great people watching.
Did someone say pampering ? Well were so I start with this! The ladies got straight into it at a small but very clean spa across the street from the hotel named Luna Spa. I also include a 90 minute spa treatment at the Salila spa at the Camakila. Then for the first time I took the ladies to the Blow Bar in Seminyak. Wow wow wow ! It was amazing! We received a cocktail on arrival followed by hair wash and blow dry. If you haven’t been here pop it on your to do list it’s amazing !!! ( or just book my next retreat and you will experience it ) 😉
Then there was the Kombi cocktail Safari. We cruised around the island with a three kombi convoy. These kombi’s sure do turn heads of the passerby’s. We visited three different places along the way to eat and drink and we even visited a beautiful Balinese temple surrounded by water. The views from this temple are breath taking.
I didn’t want this week to end as it was so uplifting and rejuvenating. I love meeting new people and sharing my bali experience with them! All I can say is bring on May 2019 ! Oh wait I’m heading back in September with my gorgeous family ! You can’t keep me away from my other home for too long.
